Casey is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in the state of Florida and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She received her BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Longwood University in 2015 and then received her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology in 2018 from Old Dominion University. She has lived in Virginia all of her life until moving to Florida at the beginning of 2020 with her fiancé.
During graduate school, she gained experience with a variety of populations and is passionate about working with young children and their families. She has been providing speech therapy to the pediatric population since graduation and has a special interest in the early intervention and preschool age groups. She feels that the relationship is the most important part of therapy and will take the time to build rapport and trust with the child and their family.
Casey is happy to serve families at our Fort Walton Beach location.
Brooke Weigand
St Mary Staff
Brooke Wiegand is a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She graduated with her Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from the University of Central Florida. She is also a fellow member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Brooke began her career working with elementary students in early childhood classrooms. Over the years, she’s had the kind privilege of watching children grow & improve their articulation, phonemic awareness, receptive & expressive language, & pragmatic skills. But of course, there’s more. Today, Brooke continues to come alongside children & families in the areas of early intervention, speech & language development, & parent/family education.
Brooke has a special interest in executive functioning, systems, & practical steps. She knows in-between where we are & where we would like to be, there’s practice. Brooke comes alongside you through the good work to help you & your child live what you’re learning. Grace included.
Outside of the office, Brooke, her husband, & daughter are taking care of their things & each other. Collecting stories worth sharing & memories worth remembering.
Scarlett Codd, CFY
FWB Office + RBCS + ECLC
Scarlett is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Louisiana State University. Scarlett's passion for speech therapy was ignited by witnessing the transformative impact it had on her special needs sister and their entire family. Inspired by the power of effective communication, she committed herself to helping others in the same way.
Specializing in early intervention, Scarlett is particularly dedicated to working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. She has experience across a range of settings, including hospitals, schools, and outpatient clinics.
Outside of work, Scarlett loves spending time at the beach and enjoys water sports, especially jet skiing. As much as she loves living in Florida, on Saturday nights you’ll always find her cheering for LSU—Geaux Tigers! :)
